Alicia designs and creates wedding items by hand such as: invitations, place cards, programs, menus, ceremony and reception decorations, guest favors, cake toppers and bridal jewelry. She can create several designs for you to chose from. She can also do floral arrangements and wilderness cakes. Her creativity allows her to create a gorgeous wedding days from the road system where you cannot drive in cakes, flowers and the like. Reception Decor  Bridal Bouquet   This was a Bouquet designed for a Bride who had a severe finger injury two days before the wedding and some large, unsightly bandages to cover up. She wasn't originally planning on having a bouquet.  This was also an impromptu bouquet made from wild irises in an Alaska Native Village hundreds of miles off the road system. Cake Topper  A double kayak cake topper (hand-made in the traditional birch bark basket weaving method) and hand-carved kayakers. Alicia made the topper for an Alaska Native couple getting married at the end of a month-long kayak trip down the Yukon river. The end location was the village where the bride grew up, thousands of miles off the road system.The cake (left) was impromptu. When Alicia was told days before their wedding that the couple had not planned a cake she scrounged up the ingredients from every source available in the village. To make it more challenging, the oven available was lopsided. :) |
